PROJECT S.T.R.I.P.

PS Poster 10 Sep 2010.jpg

An ambitious corporate!

An indigenous tribe!

A rebel group!

A comedy!

Project S.T.R.I.P. is a comic satire on the irreversible consequences of development on the environment and the human race. The play tells the story of the discovery of a native island community and their eventual extinction in the path of ‘progress and trade’. Furthermore, it questions our notions of primitive vs. civilized, savage vs. evolved and spiritual vs. empirical.

The play first opened in June 2009, at Prithvi Theatre, Mumbai
